About
Kashi II is whole new iteration of our earlier release Kashi.
Again this is tribute to the one of the world's oldest continually inhabited city Kashi.
Kashi - The city of seance, and solace where people wish to take their last breath.
There is some meloncholic sadness as well as vibrance in this city.
The Dying city is always full of life.
This time we are away from historic ghats of Kashi and roaming scot free in bylanes, and bazaar. Away from hustles and bustles of ghats, the city takes different perspective.
Roads are crowded but no cuss word is passed at any traffic interjection.
Bazaars are epitome of culture and history.
Some non concrete bylanes are smelling like petrichor or sometimes vetiverish in scorching heat.
Bylanes are full of shops selling laddu and paans making some places tobaccoish-sweet fragrant.
There are shops selling spices, and flowers.
Some vendors are hooked on to fruits for their bread-n-butter.
But by-lanes are not far away from temples and incensy smokes are fumugating the whole bazaar.
Vibrancy of bazaar never leave its past behind, it is always connected to spiritual crux of the city.
In this all natural meticulously blended composition - we have aromatically represented all facets of bylanes of kashi.
Bitter orange in top note offers fruity freshness representing fruit vendors...
Frangipani, Jasmine, and Champaca along with spices(Cinnamon , Mace, and Black pepper) represents flower and spice shops of bylanes. Combined results are spiced floral. Not too sweet floral gourmandish but with a spicy twist...
Petrichor, and Vetiver represents the non-concrete bylanes of Kashi...
Tobacco pays respects to paan shops selling iconic Benarasi Paan...
Labdanum, and Benzoin Siam represents the balsamic incensy nuances...
Fossil and Sandalwood as base is tribute to Kashi's connection with dead, and spirituality...
